Major General Majid Khadami, the head of the intelligence organization of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has reportedly been killed in a strike allegedly carried out by the United States and Israel.
According to a statement released by the IRGC on Monday (April 6), the information was confirmed by Iran’s state news agency, Fars News. The statement noted that Maj. Gen. Khadami had played a significant role in Iran’s intelligence and security apparatus for nearly five decades.
The IRGC further stated that details regarding his funeral and burial arrangements will be announced at a later time.
