Despite a two-week ceasefire with Iran, the United States is continuing to strengthen its military presence in the Middle East. According to various navigation-related data, cargo and refueling aircraft are still regularly traveling toward the region. Analysis of tracking data shows that U.S. Air Force logistics and aerial refueling operations remain ongoing, indicating efforts to maintain strategic positioning and readiness for any potential mission.
In addition, the commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement, all offensive operations against Iran have been temporarily halted. He claimed that U.S. forces have already achieved their primary strategic objectives, stating that Iran’s missile systems, naval forces, and drone capabilities, along with a significant portion of its defense industrial infrastructure, have been destroyed.
The CENTCOM commander further noted that Iran’s ability to conduct large-scale military operations and project influence beyond its borders has been significantly reduced. He described the situation as one of the most severe military setbacks for Iran in recent decades. He also mentioned that U.S. forces have carried out more than 13,000 strikes on Iranian military targets so far and have maintained a high level of combat readiness in the region.
The U.S. military emphasized that its troops remain on high alert and are prepared to respond as needed. They continue to support regional allies and maintain strong air defense systems. This heightened military activity is taking place amid a fragile ceasefire, largely due to concerns that the conflict could escalate again at any time.
